What is Sterling Silver?

Sterling silver is a high quality silver alloy that contains
92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, like copper or zinc. The addition of
other metals gives the silver increased strength and durability, making it more
suitable for everyday use. At Nuvi, we use 100% nickel-free silver, as Nickel
causes skin allergy and turns the skin greenish.

What is your Jewelry made of?

All our designs are exclusively handcrafted using 925 silver. Our jewelry comes to life with a mix of beautiful elements – from glass filled polkis and Belur polki stones to a captivating array of semi-precious stones. And when it comes to pearls, we embrace the charm of freshwater pearls, shell pearls, and even Czech pearls – whatever our unique designs call for!

Is there a hallmark on your jewelry?

Absolutely! Our jewelry features a '925' stamp, indicating it's genuine sterling silver. Look for this hallmark on the underside of your piece. It assures you of the silver's quality and authenticity.

Where is the jewelry being shipped from?

All our jewelry, bought from this website, is shipped from our Design Studio in Ahmedabad, India.

Can I experience the jewelry in person before making a purchase?

Absolutely! While we predominantly operate online through our website and Instagram, we invite you to visit our Design Studio located in Ahmedabad.

Our Design Studio is a creative space where you can engage with our jewelry and design process in a personalized way. While we don't have physical jewelry displays, you can make your selections online from our website. During your visit, we'll present your chosen designs for you to see, and we'll be delighted to discuss jewelry and more over a cup of chai or coffee.

Do you participate in exhibitions in different cities?

Yes, we frequently participate in exhibitions across various cities, offering you the opportunity to see our exquisite jewelry in person. Keep an eye on our social media platforms and website for updates on upcoming exhibitions and events.

How can I care for my Nuvi?

At Nuvi Jewels, we take pride in handcrafting each piece with 925 silver. But, as you already know, it is in the nature of silver to tarnish (a slow process of oxidization in contact with moisture in the air which leads to ‘blackening’ or tarnishing of the surface.) However, with proper care, you can maintain its brilliance for an extended period.

  • All our jewellery pieces are plated after being handcrafted in Silver.
  • To take care of the plating, please make sure that you keep them away from water and products like perfume, lotions, hairspray and makeup.
  • Keep them in the given packaging or any other cloth bag.

What about the polish? How long does it last?

At Nuvi Jewels, we handcraft each piece with pride using 925 silver. While silver naturally tarnishes, you can keep its brilliance for 2-3 years with proper care. I adore the antique charm of oxidized pieces, and I'm sure you'll love them too!

When you make a purchase, we'll include a Care Card with preservation tips. If you want your piece re-polished later, we're here to help at a nominal cost. Just email us at hello@nuvijewels.com with your order number and a photo. We're excited to assist you!

Can I exchange or return my order?

Certainly! We're happy to accept returns within 7 days, but only in cases of a manufacturing defect or if the wrong product was sent. If you receive a damaged or incorrect piece, please share a photo with us and request an exchange within 7 days of receiving the item at hello@nuvijewels.com. We're here to assist you!

What happens if my piece breaks?

Rest assured, every NUVI creation is crafted with care and undergoes a thorough quality check before being sent to you. If your piece arrives with a MANUFACTURING DEFECT, you have 7 days to ask for a replacement. Should it break over time, simply reach out to us at hello@nuvijewels.com with your order number and a photo.

While we can't cover damage due to customer negligence, we're here to assess repair options and associated charges. Your satisfaction matters to us!

The piece I'm interested in is sold out. What should I do?

Our pieces are made in limited quantities. We sell out fast, but aim to restock even faster.

If the piece you desire is currently sold out, simply sign up to receive notifications for its restock. Alternatively, you can also reach out to us at hello@nuvijewels.com, and we'll explore the possibility of creating it for you soon.

Do you take customization requests?

At Nuvi, we believe that jewelry is not just an accessory – it's an emotion, a reflection of your unique story. We would be delighted to craft a bespoke masterpiece exclusively for you, tailored to your desires and dreams.

How long does it take for delivery of made-to-order pieces?

Our designs are either made to order, in stock or in the making.

If our design is in stock we will dispatch it in 3-5 days and if the design is made to order it will take us approximately a month to 45 days to make the designs - from the day the order is placed.

Note : Actual making timelines might vary subject to reasons beyond our control and we will ensure that we inform you as soon we can in case of any such delays.

Does your 925 silver jewelry have any resale value?

Certainly, 925 silver jewelry can retain value, although it might not reach the levels of precious metals like gold or platinum. At Nuvi Jewels, we create timeless designs that are intended to be cherished across generations. While the idea of resale is there, we hope you'll find our pieces so special that you'd prefer to keep them with you always.

Do you ship worldwide?
